CornvilleCornville is in the Verde Valley, about 100 miles and less than 2 hours from the Phoenix airport. It's a tiny town, not even a crossroad. More like a side road. But, it has a post office, gas stations, more than one good restaurant, a feed store (hey, we're in the country here), and a lovely park. Oak Creek runs through town, and it's surrounded by lovely cottonwood trees. We have our own post office / zip code - which is more than Perinton (our former home) has. And they really mean "Speed Limit 25", so pay attention when you drive through town. Also in the valley are the major metropolis of Cottonwood (pop 10,000) and Sedona, one of the most beautiful areas anywhere. We are about 45 minutes from Flagstaff, where they typically get more snow than Rochester! Flagstaff is ~3000 feet of elevation higher than Cornville, and much cooler. One of the most frequent questions we are asked: What's the temperature like? Records and Averages (from yahoo weather)
